Hanne Kathrine Iversen

I’m currently based in Halden, Norway. My biggest inspiration is nature, and i love to walk in the forest, exploring and gathering inspiration.  I’m always interested in different creative expressions and learning new techniques, and currently I’m primarily working with ink, acrylic paintings, mixed media, and ceramics. To live is to constantly learn new things, and I never back down from a challenge – so feel free to contact me for a custom order! Previously I have had custom orders for painted jackets, shoes, and helmets. You name it – I will paint it!
I constantly follow the flow of inspiration, working with different media and artistic expression simultaneously to keep my workdays interesting and fresh.

Now I’m taking a deeper dive into abstract art; painting those inner landscapes of emotions and focusing on how to communicate these emotions through my brushstrokes. Rules are made to be broken (at least some of them) and I love to challenge the established artforms – breaking these patterns and painting for the sake of painting!

Most of my life I’ve enjoyed different forms of art and started early on with painting. I’ve taken a bachelor within art at the University of Agder, but it was first in January 2022 that I started focusing mainly on my creative journey. Since then, I have been producing ceramic necklaces and other jewelry for sale. And I have loved every minute of it – doing what I was meant to do. In the summer of 2022, I challenged myself – and went to the marked in the town square to sell my artwork. The feedback I got on my products were amazing, and I’ve now decided to again show my artwork at the town square in Kristiansand for the Christmas marked.

I also had a showcase in a store in Mandal, Mandal Arts and Crafts, together with other creators.

These days, I am focusing on creating a course which dives deeper into the abstract artform, through ink and coal. I have also been asked to illustrate a childrens book, which I am looking forward to! Other than that, I am focusing on establishing myself in Halden, after moving back from Kristiansand. Making connections, collaborating, and finding arenas where i can sell my work.

What an amazing and exciting journey it has been, to be able to work with what I love, and having the possibility to dive deeper into my passion! I’m forever thankful for everyone who has supported me to take this leap, so that I get to do what I love, and share my creative vision with the world!
